Suriya’s Scene Trailer: Legend Resign as a Cop to Enter Politics; Here's All Fun

Actor Suriya is ready to entertain audiences once again with his upcoming film Scene. After the success of Vishwanath & Sons, the actor is returning with a completely different role in this action comedy directed by Jithu Madhavan. The trailer was released today.

The film features Suriya as Inbaraj, a police officer who is known for his intelligence and unusual behaviour. The trailer begins with Inbaraj deciding to quit the police force. All starts asking why did the legend resign. Even though his senior officers try to convince him to change his decision, he refuses to listen.

In one funny scene, police officers arrive at his house to take him to his superior officer Stephen, played by Lal. Inbaraj refuses to cooperate and makes the situation more entertaining with his mischievous behaviour.

When Stephen asks about his plans after leaving the police department, Inbaraj says that he wants to enter politics.

The trailer also introduces Nazriya Nazim as Maya. She enters Inbaraj's life after responding to an advertisement for a house helper.

Naslen plays Eeswaran who is a dangerous criminal who is presented as a smart and ruthless opponent. The central story appears to revolve around Inbaraj's attempts to catch him. Their unusual rivalry promises several exciting and humorous moments. The film also features actors Anandraj, John Vijay and Lal in important roles.

Jithu Madhavan, who earlier directed Romancham and Aavesham, is known for mixing comedy with unusual characters. The trailer suggests that he has followed a similar style for this film as well.

Sushin Shyam has composed the music, while Vineeth Augustian is the cinematographer. The film is produced by Zhagaram Studios.

Scene is scheduled to release worldwide on November 6, 2026 during the Deepavali season. The film is going to clash with Ranbir Kapoor Ramayana that is also going to release for Diwali season.
