Senior Actor Narayana Murthy Admitted At NIMS

Revolutionary singer, actor and filmmaker R Narayana Murthy who created a strong mark in the film industry has been admitted to NIMS hospital because of health issues. The treatment is going on under the supervision of Dr. Beerappa and the actor is reportedly recovering right now.

He is 69-years-old and started acting from 1978. His first film was 'Pranam Khareedu' and was last seen in 'Raitanna' which came out in 2021. He is known for making films that showcase the situation of backward sections of the society. He is one of the most popular artists and made 29 films as producer and director.

He is also a music director, lyricist and a writer. Known for his left-oriented films, Puri Jagannadh once said that he planned to cast Narayana Murthy in Murthy role who stands by his principles. He even got Nandi Special Jury Award for his film 'Dandora' in 1993.
