Every Movie release day in Tollywood is like a lottery, a mix of surprises and risks. Post-COVID, audience habits have changed, and OTT platforms have made box office predictions unpredictable. This Friday, September 19, is crowded, as several small films compete for attention ahead of Pawan Kalyan’s OG release on September 25.

Among the films releasing is Daksha, starring Manchu Lakshmi and Mohan Babu, previously titled Agni Nakshatra. Love stories are also in focus, with Beauty featuring Ankit Koyya and Neelaki, alongside Naresh and Vasuki in key roles. Andela Ravamidhi, inspired by Swarna Kamalam, has Indrani Davuluri as lead actress, producer, and director. Mythri Movie Makers is also distributing You Have Never Seen Such a Movie, adding variety to the lineup.

Dubbed films are part of the mix too. Vijay Anthony’s 25th film, Bhadrakali, targets the Telugu audience. Thanal, previously successful with DNA, releases in Telugu as Tunnel, starring Lavanya Tripathi. Ravi Basrur’s Kannada film Veera Chandra Haasa is also making its Telugu debut.

As September 19 approaches, it’s uncertain which films will succeed. Will Mirai and Kishkinda Kandala continue to dominate, or will these small releases carve their space? With so many films on the same day, the weekend will reveal the winners. For viewers, it promises a packed Friday full of choice, excitement, and cinematic surprises with action, thriller, romance and more.
