King Size Budget To Launch King’s Daughter

Star hero Shah Rukh Khan went through a purple patch for a long period of time, but then, he has come back into the groove with movies like Pathaan and Jawaan. Owing to that, SRK stopped making many public appearances and carving out his films calmly.

His next would be directed by Pathaan maker Siddharth Anand, and it also has his daughter Suhana Khan teaming up with him for the first time. The film was in the production pipeline for a long time, and when it comes out, it will hit cinemas in December this year, some interesting news is rolling out.

Guess what, with his daughter teaming up with him, and Deepika Padukone playing the heroine, Shah Rukh Khan is not even thinking twice about the budget of the movie. The film is tentatively titled “King”, and it has so far spent ₹430+ crores on the production, making it the costliest film ever in King Khan’s career, which he’s doing to launch his daughter big time on the silver screen.

Already they have shot scenes across the world, and VFX is being handled by Khan’s very own Redchillies, where they are working day and night to get some stunning output. Well, we have to see what director Siddharth Anand has in fact got for “King”. Due to this film’s tight schedule, SRK even refused to do a guest role in Superstar Rajnikanth’s Jailer 2 movie.
