A colossal set was constructed following three months of meticulous preparation to serve as the backdrop for a gruelling 22-day continuous shooting schedule. Sharwanand had to sit for a 2.5 hours every single day to complete make-up and then one hour to remove it. He transformed himself into Ganga to play the leading man with great conviction.
