Shilpa Shirodkar has responded to questions about Mahesh Babu not posting anything about her while she was in the Bigg Boss house. She made it clear that social media doesn’t define relationships. “Just because someone doesn’t post doesn’t mean they don’t care,” she said, dismissing any rumors.
She also stated that she joined the show to prove herself, not because of her family connections. “I wasn’t there as Namrata’s sister and Mahesh Babu's relatives. He is a superstar, but that doesn’t shape my career,” she explained. She added that Mahesh and Namrata are private people who support their family in their own way.
Shilpa also shared a career regret—losing the Chaiya Chaiya song offer. “I was the first choice, but they replaced me because I was considered overweight,” she revealed. Though she missed that chance, she is still remembered for films like Hum and Gopikishan.
