Ravi Teja's highly anticipated emotional thriller Irumudi has been promising a great cinematic experience to audiences from the moment it is announced. Writer-director Shiva Nirvana interacted with the media and he revealed that he is thrilled and proud to showcase such an incredible unique blend of family bonding, a crime subplot, and the divine Ayyappa Swamy backdrop in one film.

Revealing more highly interesting details about the musical choices, director Shiva Nirvana explained the profound thought behind the chartbuster song Mallepoola Pallaki. He said, "For fifteen years, this has been the song every Ayyappa devotee sings during Padi Poojas. While GV Prakash Kumar could have brought any top singer in the country, we respected the sentiments of the devotees and recorded it with the original singer, Dappu Srinu." He expressed confidence in song leaving people dancing in theatres not just devotees.

Addressing the comparisons with other films in similar genres, the director confidently clarified that the film is an entirely unique narrative. He stated that while films with the Ayyappa backdrop are rare in the South, this project stands apart due to its intense crime angle interwoven with a beautiful family drama. He assured audiences that the screenplay, depicting how the protagonist behaves while in the strict Deeksha versus when he is not, will be an absolute thrilling ride.

Shiva Nirvana further praised Ravi Teja for completely submitting to the character. He revealed, "Ravi Teja gives complete freedom once he locks the story. He believes in collaborative work and it is my luck to have been able to tell such a beautiful story with him in the lead." He continued to praise Baby Nakshatra, Priya Bhavani Shankar for their performances.

The director is completely in praises for Mythri Movie Makers who produced the film. He said, "We had to take massive crew to remote locations but we never had any issues. Mythri people have taken care of each and everything. Vishnu Sarma, my DOP and every crew member worked with great belief to craft this film." He concluded by stating that he expects audiences to be thrilled by watching Irumudi in theatres from 21st August worldwide, as it offers a perfect blend of all emotions.
