Shraddha Srinath is one actress who became synonymous with playing mature roles in Tollywood. Whether it is 'U Turn' in Kannada or 'Vikram Vedha' in Tamil, Shraddha proved her capability even before working in Telugu. She impressed Tollywood lovers big time with her emotional performance in 'Jersey'. She played a mature role in Siddu's 'Krishna & His Leela' as well.

While speaking to India Today, she talked about the Hema Committee Report and other issues as well. She said, “I felt safe. I have felt unsafe outside my working space instead. It's been that way since I was an eight-year-old. I have been lucky that I didn't have to face anything in the industry. That doesn't mean that others are not struggling.”

She claims that there is a need to look after the safety of women. She claims, “If you are going through something, you don't know whom to speak to. And sometimes, by the time you speak, it's quite late. We need a structured body that looks into this. Small changes would help too. Something as simple as providing toilets for the saree draper and hairstylist. People should listen to this and be a part of the conversation.”

She will soon be seen in 'Mechanic Rocky', 'Kaliyugam' and 'Letters To Mr Khanna'. Her last outing 'Saindhav' was a big failure in Telugu.
