Shriya Saran Pins Hopes On This Web Series

Beautiful heroine Shriya Saran, who made her debut in Tollywood back in 2001 with "Ishtam," is still actively working in both Tollywood and Bollywood. Despite facing highs and lows in her career, she continues to secure a good number of projects. Recently, she gained recognition for her role in the 'Drishyam' series, but faced setbacks with the movies "Kabzaa" and "Music School."

However, Shriya has bounced back with a promising role in a Bollywood project by producer Karan Johar. The series, titled "Showtime," features Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, and Naseeruddin Shah. Scheduled to be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on March 8th, this year, the announcement was made by Karan Johar through a behind-the-scenes video.

Shriya seems to have a supportive role alongside actor Rajeev Khandelwal. It remains to be seen whether this role will pave the way for breakthrough opportunities in both Bollywood and Tollywood, offering her performance-oriented roles. Not confined to just lead roles, Shriya has demonstrated versatility by taking on motherly roles as well.
