Shruti Haasan Says Box Office Doesn�t Shake Father

Shruti Haasan, who was recently seen in Superstar Rajinikanth�s Coolie, is being appreciated for her role in Lokesh Kanagaraj�s action film. While promoting the movie, she spoke to The Hollywood Reporter India and shared thoughts about her father Kamal Haasan.

When asked if the failure of Thug Life upset him, Shruti said it didn�t. �My dad comes from a time when numbers were not such a big topic. He puts his own money into films and believes in his work. The box office talk doesn�t affect him the way people think,� she explained.

Shruti also spoke about growing up with Kamal�s influence. She said his presence is always there, but it doesn�t block her journey. �Appa is like the sun. The sun creates a shadow, but it also gives light. For me, his presence is that kind of energy,� she said.

Her words show the balance she has kept between respect for her father and her own identity. Shruti has built her career in films and music on her own choices, while Kamal continues to stand as an inspiration.
