Apparently, she used to live independently in Mumbai, with her Boyfriend years ago. Earlier, she used to live with her sister and mom, Sarika, in Mumbai in another house. But today, Shruti did the house-warming for her Chennai house, all alone, and many are wondering why. Some say that she’s not getting film offers anywhere but now wants to focus on music from Chennai, says a source.

Of course, going to one’s hometown has its advantages, as Shruti knows in and out of the Tamil Film Industry, thanks to her father, legendary Kamal Haasan, and she might do very well in tinsel town. Recently, Shruti also did a song in Tamil, singing the female version of Sai Abyankhar’s Pavazha Malli, and gained immense fame.
