Stories often start as tiny sparks, and sometimes a casual conversation can set them ablaze. While promoting his upcoming movie Telusu Kada, young actor Siddu Jonnalagadda had a candid chat with veteran star Ravi Teja, whose film Mass Jathara is releasing just two weeks later. With Telusu Kada, the romantic triangle hitting screens on October 17, and Mass Jathara, an action movie on October 31, the overlap brought the two actors together for an engaging joint interview.
During the talk, Siddu shared a plan that surprised many, from moviegoers to the interviewer, his idea to make a biopic on Ravi Teja, who has a history of coming from a small cameo artist to becoming a legend who has been in the industry for more than 4 decades. Inspired by Ravi Teja’s rise from small roles to a leading hero without any film industry background, Siddu wanted to capture the star’s journey on screen. After gaining recognition with Krishna and His Leela, he even spent a few days researching the project. But for reasons unknown, he eventually put the idea on hold. Ravi Teja, hearing this, revealed that he had once considered a biopic of an actor himself, though he kept the name a secret.
Ravi Teja emphasized that a biopic must reflect both triumphs and struggles of the mass hero. The challenges, failures, and personal battles are as crucial as the victories for the story to give depth. Showing only the positive side wouldn’t do justice to anyone’s story, he explained.
