Sithara New Route: Good Or Bad For Tollywood?

One of the leading production houses in Telugu cinema Sithara Entertainment have completely revamped their route in the recent past as they have been exploring multiple avenues.

This leading production house had been making films with other language superstar, including Dulquer Salmaan, and Dhanush. That they are continuing on this track without any further detrimental decisions and it appears to be that the results are coming their way.

After having delivered a blockbuster with Dulquer Salmaan in the form of Lucky Bhaskar, this Sitara production house is now reportedly, contemplating a film with Tamil superstar Simbu.

This would be the second collaboration of this production house with a Tamil superstar after Dhanush, and they have reportedly finalised Simbu for the same.

The point that must be noted, here is that Simbu is a big star in Tamil and he has a decent following in Telugu market as well. His films like Manmadha and Vallabha had worked out well in Telugu.

Apart from that, Sitara is also doing films with Suriya and Rishabh Shetty, which are both in the production stage now. It is evident that they are looking at other language superstars and generating a huge business model in South Indian cinema.

On one hand, there is an argument that this production label must primarily operate in Telugu Cinema, which gave them their identity. What at the same time it is also a fact that there is nothing wrong in diversifying portfolio and making quality films with other language superstars.
