After 'Family Star', the Telugu box office is eagerly waiting for the next big release but it seems very far away. In the meanwhile, there are a flurry of small films which are hitting the big screens this weekend to test their luck at the box office.
The first in the list is 'Parijaatha Parvam' which has Shraddha Das, Chaitanya Rao, Sunil and others playing main roles. 'Kidnap is an art' is the caption of the movie and Santosh Kumbhampati is the director. Devesh and Mahidhar Reddy are the producers. It is getting released on 19th April.
Naveen Kumar Gattu is arriving with 'Serapanjaram'. He is the hero as well as the director of this film. Laya is the heroine and it is also releasing on 19th April. The movie is completely rooted and has a very earthy backdrop to it. Kannada film featuring Malashri is releasing in Telugu as 'Maaranaayudham'. It is a complete action drama and it is also arriving on the same day.
While there are theatrical releases, the OTT platforms are going to offer a lot of interesting content as well. 'Anyone But You' is arriving on the 15th of April and 'Rebel Moon 2' is arriving on the 19th on Netflix. Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh's 'Sairan' is releasing on 19th April on Disney + Hotstar while another Korean project named 'Chief Detective 1958' is also arriving on the same day.
'My Dear Donga' is releasing on 19th April in 'Aha' while 'Article 370' is going to be streamed on Jio Cinema from Friday.
