Nag Ashwin and his team have created magic on the screen with 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Despite its flaws and shortcomings, the movie is a visual feast and people cannot get their minds off of this film. The world he built with top actors like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and others is marvelous. People are eagerly waiting for the second part now.

We have seen Nag Ashwin talking to the media and giving interviews recently. Now, he shared a behind-the-scenes picture of Shobana on Instagram. He wrote, “First pic during the look test of my all-time fav @shobana_danseuse #mariam.” As we know, she played the role of Mariam who is in charge of Shambala in the movie. We can see the stylists putting on the silver anklets to Sobhana's feet in this black-and-white click.

She tries to protect Sumathi from all the evil people from Complex. Despite her limited screen time, the senior actress made a strong impact. Legendary actress Sobhana who worked in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and many other languages has definitely elevated the proceedings in the film.

Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Ashwattama while Prabhas will be seen as Bhairava. Deepika Padukone is playing one of the main leads as well. Starring Prabhas in the lead, Nag Ashwin is directing this science-fiction thriller. Keerthy Suresh gave the voiceover for the Bujji vehicle. Ashwini Dutt is the producer. Santosh Narayanan is the music composer.
