Superstar Prabhas fans have been buzzing ever since the announcement of "Spirit," a film directed by the talented Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who shot to fame with his 2nd blockbuster movie "Animal." The collaboration promised an exciting new chapter for the superstar, but recent developments have cast a shadow of delay upon the project.

While the initial announcement pegged March 2024 for the start of pre-production, it appears the wait will be much longer. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, fresh off the promotions for "Animal," has only just begun finalizing the script for "Spirit." Sandeep is known for his meticulous process, spending a significant amount of time refining his scripts. For "Animal," he reportedly completed a script in 18 months before deeming it ready for production.

Given this history, the projected 6-month timeline for "Spirit's" script work might be optimistic. There's a chance Sandeep could require additional months to polish the script to his satisfaction. This delay is sure to test the patience of Prabhas's fans who were eagerly anticipating the duo's collaboration.

In the meantime, Prabhas has other projects to keep him busy. He's currently filming for director Maruthi's "The Raja Saab" in Hyderabad and is soon set to begin work on Prashanth Neel's "Salaar 2." While these projects offer their own thrills, the wait for "Spirit" undeniably grows longer. One can only hope that Sandeep's meticulous approach translates to a truly exceptional film worth the wait.
