Sree Vishnu’s Huge Statement On Comrade Kalyan

Taking the erstwhile Naxalism backdrop as the main theme, talented hero Sree Vishnu has taken up the film “Comrade Kalyan” which is hitting cinemas on October 9th. During the promotions of the film, many in fact asked the hero if they are making fun of the whole communist ideology through this movie, and the actor clarified.

Sree Vishnu says, “We are not making fun of any ideology, or the characters won’t be doing anything funny from the second half of the film. Only the situations these characters are in will be funny for the audience, but the characters are serious about their goals and achievements”. That’s a huge statement to give about movies like Comrade Kalyan, because gone are the days when communism-centric movies like Osey Ramulamma and Erra Sainyam have come and clicked.

In the wake of Venkatesh starrrer Adarsha Kutumbam going out from the 9th October race, and there are no other happening and big films around, surely it’s going to be a great advantage for the movie Comrade Kalyan. Many are looking forward to Sree Vishnu continuing his streak as Comedy King, which he delivered with films like Samajavaragamana and Single.
