Sree Vishnu’s Mrithyunjay Gets Big Praise from Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy

Sree Vishnu’s latest investigative thriller Mrithyunjay is receiving strong appreciation from audiences after its theatrical release on March 6. The film has been getting positive word-of-mouth for its gripping story and engaging screenplay. Now, globally renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy has also shared his appreciation for the film through a heartfelt Instagram post.

Dr. Gurava Reddy explained that the movie reminded him of the suspense novels written by famous author James Hadley Chase, which he used to read during his student days. According to him, those novels were always filled with suspense and unexpected twists on every page and Mrithyunjay gave him a similar experience.

He wrote, “During my student days, I used to read many novels by James Hadley Chase. His stories were always full of suspense and gripping twists on every page. After a long time, I watched a film that reminded me of those novels. That film is Mrithyunjay.”

He also praised actor Sree Vishnu and director Hussain Sha Kiran for presenting a tight and engaging thriller without unnecessary scenes.

He wrote, “Director Hussain Sha Kiran has made a clean and no-nonsense thriller with great skill. He kept the audience fully focused on the story and made us completely immersed in the film for two hours. Without any unnecessary diversions or scenes, he carried the story smoothly till the end. I have not seen such a unique thriller in Telugu cinema in recent times.”

LHe said, “Those who love good Telugu films and thrillers must definitely watch this movie. When we support such films, more interesting stories like the ones we see in Malayalam cinema will also be made in our language.”

Interestingly, he also revealed that his son Adarsh appears in the film in a brief one-minute role. Ending his post with a humorous touch, he thanked his wife Bhavani and daughter-in-law Harsha for accompanying him to the movie.
