Trailer Talk: Sree Vishnu’s Mrithyunjay Is Riveting Thriller

Known as “King of entertainment”, Sri Vishnu often lives up to the mark as he delivered back-to-back fun, entertaining films and box office ringing movies, like Samajavaragamana, #Single and Vishnu Vinyasam, other day. For a change, he is now making a thriller film, staying away from his usual tropes, titled Mrithunjay, directed by Shri Hussain Shah Kiran.
The trailer features Sree Vishnu as an orphan who works independently for the police department. It opens with him seeking a post in the crime branch of Hyderabad City. Thereby, he encounters a small girl who just lost her father, and the hero feels that her father's death is not accidental, but a pre planned murder. The trailer showcases how Sree Vishnu tangles through the maze that is set up around him to find out the shocking truth. While he's good as an investigator, his farmer coaster Rebba Monica John turns up as his superior Police officer.
Interesting visuals, good music, and a change of genre are working in favour of the thriller; the fate of the film depends on how the director handles the movie for two hours inside theatres. Kaala Bhairava’s music seems to be an added asset for the movie, that’s bankroled by producers Sandeep Gunnam & Vinay Chilakapati.
Mrithyunjay is hitting cinemas on March 6, 2026, a week after Sree Vishnu’s recent outing in theatres.
