Sreeleela Silently Packed Bags To Bombay?

At a time when Telugu films are ruled out, many heroines have knocked on the doors of Bollywood. Though they haven’t become sought-after heroines there, somehow, they have set foot there and are doing films. The likes of Ileana and Pooja Hegde are the best examples of this. Now it looks like even Sreeleela has packed her bags for Bombay silently.

After the 2022 release of Dhamaka, somehow nothing worked for Sreeleela in Tollywood, including movies like Skanda, Aadikeshava, Extra Ordinary Man, Guntur Kaaram, Robinhood, Junior, Mass Jathara and Ustaad Bhagat Singh. She cannot be blamed for the failure of these movies, but without having hit movies to her credit, the actress is said to be quoting more than ₹4 crores for each film, as per reports, and that baffled the producers. That led to no Telugu films in hand at the moment.

However, two years ago, Sreeleela signed Kartik Aryan’s next film, being directed by Anurag Basu, where she is playing an explosive role. Though that film is not getting wrapped soon, somehow, Sreeleela used that film to her advantage as she signed films like Ibrahim Ali Khan’s Diler, and another female-centric film opposite Janhvi Kapoor. If these films click, surely she will make huge inroads into Bollywood in a big way.

Though Sreeleela has Tamil films like Dhanush’s OM and another one in the offing, she wants to focus more on Bollywood at the moment, says a source. Well, good for her!
