Sreeleela Mother Gives Clarity On Tilak Varma Relationship With Actress

Rumours about actress Sreeleela and Indian cricketer Tilak Varma have been spreading widely on social media for the past few days. Many reports claimed that the actress and the young cricketer were in a relationship. However, Sreeleela’s mother, Dr. Swarnalatha, has now reacted strongly and dismissed all such rumours.

Speaking about the issue, Dr. Swarnalatha said, “These rumours are absolutely false and have no truth in them.” She explained that there is no relationship between Sreeleela and Tilak Varma and added that people are creating stories without any proper reason. According to her, the rumours are completely imaginary.

She also shared that Sreeleela is currently very busy with both her studies and film career. “She is preparing for her NEET-PG examination scheduled in June. Right now, her concentration is entirely on studies and films,” she said. Dr. Swarnalatha added that Sreeleela has no plans regarding marriage or relationships at present and wants to focus only on her future goals.

The rumours reportedly started after a few incidents caught public attention. One such incident happened during the Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations in December 2025. Sreeleela visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple with her mother, while Tilak Varma was also said to be present there with his family around the same time. Social media users quickly started connecting the two celebrities.

Another moment that increased the gossip happened during a T20 World Cup match at Wankhede Stadium. Sreeleela attended the match, and some social media users noticed that a member from her team was allegedly wearing a jersey connected to Tilak Varma. This led to more online discussions and speculation.

Reacting to these incidents, Dr. Swarnalatha clarified, “Both incidents were purely coincidental and nothing more to it.” She also mentioned that social media often creates unnecessary stories from unrelated situations.

She further recalled that Sreeleela was earlier linked with Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan after they started working together on a film directed by Anurag Basu. She said even those rumours were baseless.

Finally Dr. Swarnalatha revealed that Sreeleela is currently taking a short break before choosing her next film project carefully.
