Life is like a kaleidoscope, every turn shows a new pattern, colours blending in surprising ways. For actress Srinidhi Shetty, her journey in cinema has been just that, a shifting mix of romance, action, and now a hopeful dream of working with legends.
Srinidhi, who is making waves with her upcoming movie Telusu Kadda, is already riding high on the success of her song “Sogasu Chudatharama”. In just two weeks, the song is nearing 10 million views and topping Spotify charts, proving her growing connection with the audience. She says, “I personally like doing romantic stories. But I have done films with violence and bloodshed like KGF and Hit 3 so far. After all these years, I felt happy to do a new, fun romantic drama like Telusu Kadda. Everyone will definitely be surprised when they see it on screen.”
Talking about her role in Telusu Kadda, Srinidhi shares, “The story is entertaining, with something new. It revolves around two girls and a boy, but it’s not just a love triangle. My character Raaga has some shades similar to my real life, though with a bit of grey. Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s role will also connect deeply with the audience. This film will make the audience feel they have watched a truly good romantic drama.” Her excitement reflects not just as an actress, but as a storyteller eager to explore different colours of cinema.
When asked about the buzz around Venkatesh–Trivikram’s next project, she smiles, “I don’t know if I’m part of it yet, but I hope I get that opportunity. Working with such legends would be a dream. This film has taught me a lot about mastering craft, discipline, and exploring diversity in roles. Siddhu’s comedy timing, Raashi Khanna’s discipline, every detail is a lesson. As an actress, I want to keep turning my kaleidoscope and discovering new patterns.”
