Buzz: Chiranjeevi Picks SS Thaman Over AR Rahman?
After the songs of Ram Charan’s Peddi went viral, everyone thought that even Chiranjeevi would repeat his son's composer only.;
The film featuring megastar Chiranjeevi and probably Priyamani in the lead, directed by KS Bobby, has been in discussion for a long time. The makers of Yash’s Toxic, KVN Productions, are bankrolling this movie, and earlier, there was a buzz that none other than Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman would be scoring for the movie. Here’s the latest update as per the buzz in Film circles.
After the songs of Ram Charan’s Peddi went viral, everyone thought that even Chiranjeevi would repeat his son's composer only. Because these days, many Telugu composers like Thaman, Devi Sri Prasad, Bheems, and others are giving hit albums occasionally, and the previous films of Chiranjeevi are also a testimony to that. However, the talk is coming out that SS Thaman was chosen over AR Rahman due to timing and budget issues.
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi and KS Bobby’s movie was supposed to be announced in February itself, but due to various changes including script-work and other budget planning, the movie’s muhurat event hasn’t taken place. Maybe the film will be announced by Ugadi, March 19th, if reports are anything to be believed.
