It is already known that superstar, Mahesh Babu is collaborating with iconic film maker Rajamouli for his upcoming project, which has been tentatively titled SSMB 29. While the film is still in early stages of production, we are hearing that it is going to be the costliest project in Indian cinema.

SSMB29, directed by the famous S.S. Rajamouli, is creating huge excitement. The movie is being made on a grand scale, and a massive set has been built specially for it at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

This set is a replica of Varanasi city, one of India's oldest and most sacred cities. The makers have spent around ₹50 crore to build this set, which makes it the most expensive set ever created in Indian cinema history.

Earlier, movies like Devdas, Bajirao Mastani, and Heeramandi were known for their costly sets, which cost between ₹15 crore to ₹20 crore. But this Varanasi set has broken all previous records. The director Rajamouli, who is known for his big-budget films like Baahubali and RRR, wants every detail to be perfect and grand.

The overall budget for SSMB29 is also very huge. Reports suggest that the film's total budget is nearly ₹1,000 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian movies ever.

Rajamouli is one of the most expressive film makers in Indian cinema, and he is now going all out for his film with Mahesh Babu now.
