Boyapati Changes Route: To Launch Son

Before the release of “Akhanda 2”, Boyapati Sreenu was actually supposed to direct either Allu Arjun or some other star hero. However, after the flop show of the Balakrishna starrer, many supposed films, like launching Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna, have been dropped. But now the talk is that the director is getting ready to create his own hero, rather than running after someone.
Apparently, Boyapati’s elder son Harshit is assisting his father as an AD in the last two movies. Now, the director wants to launch his son as the main lead, and the likes of Geetha Arts or Mythri Movie Makers might be producing this movie. The star director also changed the route from making mass movies and is looking forward to carving a love story with him, such that he would get a proper launch as a hero in the industry.
On the other hand, though sons of star directors have become sought-after star heroes in Tamil Nadu, with the likes of Vijay being the big example, somehow in Telugu, no director’s son has become a star here. Many senior directors like Raghavendra Rao, Dasari and others launched their sons, but they have failed. We have to see if Boyapati’s son will rewrite history.
