Ever since the film started rolling, a lot of gossip and rumors regarding this project went viral.
Talented hero Vishwak Sen is arriving with another interesting concept. All the films he did till date are on one side and what he is coming up with now is on another side. 'Gangs Of Godavari' is being made in a prestigious manner and every update from this flick is raising the expectations. The first glimpse which came out recently has generated a lot of positive buzz on the movie.
Ever since the film started rolling, a lot of gossip and rumors regarding this project went viral. One such news says that this story has been readied for another hero and a few other heroes were considered before going to 'Falaknuma Das' hero. Going into details, Vishwak Sen plays the role of Lankala Ratna in the movie and the entire story revolves around this character.
Director Krishna Chaitanya has readied a story that showcases the journey of a common Godavari youngster who goes on to fight some powerful people in that area. 'Gangs Of Godavari' has Neha Shetty playing the female lead while Telugu actress Anjali will be seen doing a very crucial role which is quite vital for the story.
There are some other rumors which recently floated on the internet in recent times. They claim that Krishna Chaitanya wanted to make 'Power Petta' with Nithiin which did not materialize and the same story has been made as 'Gangs Of Godavari' with Vishwak Sen. But there is no truth in this rumor as the story of 'Power Petta' is completely different to this film. 'Power Petta' has a Yeluru backdrop and the director wanted to make it in two parts. But the dates of Nithiin weren't adjusted accordingly.
Coming to 'Gangs of Godavari', it is in no way related to 'Power Petta' and the recently released glimpse presented Vishwak in a never before look. He is seen in a rugged manner and he is traveling on a sand boat. Insiders claim that the sand mafia will be showcased in this movie which also has a political touch. The movie will be quite raw and rustic as per sources.
Nithiin was not considered for this movie but Sharwanand was. But the 'Gamyam' hero's dates couldn't be adjusted which is why Vishwak came into the picture. Reports suggest that 'Gangs of Godavari' is coming out wonderfully and Vishwak should be appreciated for getting a grip on Godavari slang despite being a hardcore Telangana youngster.
