One of the top-rated TV shows in the world, Stranger Things, got an end with the finale episodes, Season 5 Episode 8: The Rightside Up, streamed on New Year’s Eve in 2026. While the show has stunned many fans and others, surely, people wonder why the makers of the show, the Duffer brothers, wrapped it up in a hurry. It looks like the latest documentary on Stranger Things is giving hints about what has actually happened.

“Stranger Things: One Last Adventure” is a documentary that actually gives a peek into the making of Season 5, giving lots of insights into what has actually happened behind the scenes. One of them is nothing but the Duffer brothers revealing that they took a huge time to write the Finale 8th episode, The Rightside Up, as they were confused as to what they should do with a lot of important characters like Eleven.

They have revealed that both the production teams, behind-the-scenes teams, and Netflix heads are pressuring them for updates and growing impatient. Without any finished script for the last episode, the team even went for the shooting too, like some of our Telugu movies. However, in the end, they have crafted out what could be called the best, but that disappointed the viewers, which we already know.

Many are now opining that maybe the pressure from Netflix bosses has resulted in this mediocre writing from Duffer Brothers, but then, without adhering to timelines and taking forever-granted time will result only in delays and losses.
