Building a name in both Tollywood and Bollywood is never an easy task. Telugu actor Sudheer Babu known for constantly experimenting with his roles is now aiming to expand his reach with his upcoming horror film Jatadhara. The movie which is set to release worldwide on November 7, 2025, marks his entry into the pan-India space.

Sudheer Babu has always been a risk-taker in his career and this time, his ambition is bigger. Sudheer is eyeing a wider audience, especially in the Hindi market with his film Jayadhara.

Interestingly, the movie team seems to be following a smart, low-risk business strategy. While most pan India films have huge budgets and pre release deals running into crores, Jatadhara has locked a modest ₹6 crore pre-release business in Telugu states and aims for a ₹8 crore break-even globally. This shows that the makers are confident and also careful not relying solely on the Telugu box office.

Meanwhile Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has been cast in a powerful ghost role to attract the Hindi audience. Her look and presence have already caught attention in the North. The film is jointly produced by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora, two major names in Bollywood by ensuring strong Hindi promotions.

So Sudheer Babu’s plan is clear , he wants to stay safe in Telugu while testing the Hindi market. If Jatadhara gets even an average talk in Telugu, the team can easily recover its cost. Any success in Hindi would be an added bonus.

The movie, directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, will have its pre-release event on November 1 at Hyderabad’s Aavasa Hotel.
