Sukumar’s Door Shut For Thaman?

Music director, Thaman is one of the most talented technicians in Telugu cinema and he is currently expanding his horizons in the Indian Cinemas spectrum as well by working on big films in other languages as well.

However, it appears that Thaman who is currently at the very peak of his career is still unable to impress Sukumar with his composition for Pushpa 2.

As we had reported yesterday, Thaman had revealed that he worked on 10 days for the original soundtrack of the second part of Pushpa. He further added that he had delivered three different musical versions for the film, and the unit had liked them as well.

However, it was Sukumar, who decided not to use any of these versions for the final copy of the film, and he decided to go with the version that were composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Sam CS. It is very clear to note that Sukumar had clear idea in mind and Thaman could not match the same with his musical works.

This is perhaps an indication that Sukumar and Thaman are not on the right meter to work together in the future either. If at all Sukumar decides to move out of the comfort space of Devi Sri Prasad and Govind, some other music director, then this work compiled by Thaman for Pushpa, my run on the back of his head and keep him away.

This is just a speculative theory for now, and not necessarily a fact that could happen in the future. We have to see if this potential collaboration between these two extremely talented technicians would be happening in the future, but it looks highly unlikely for the time being.
