Suman Questions Censor Board Over Vulgar Content in Films

Veteran actor Suman has raised questions about the functioning of the censor board and the kind of films that are being certified for theatrical release. Speaking in Rajahmundry, he reportedly expressed concern over movies that contain vulgar or inappropriate content.

Suman questioned how films with objectionable scenes and language are able to receive censor certificates. He said that some content may not be suitable for audiences, especially families who want to watch films together in theatres.

Suman suggested that the censor board should carefully examine the content of every movie before giving certification. He questioned whether the board members are noticing the vulgarity that ordinary audiences can see on the screen.

He also spoke about the importance of making films that can be enjoyed by different sections of the audience. Suman said that a movie should have good content, emotions and beauty. At the same time, he felt that filmmakers should avoid making a film unnecessarily ugly or inappropriate.

The actor reportedly referred to a recently released film that received criticism from audiences for its alleged vulgar content.
