Sumanth Reacts to Being Called Akkineni Sumanth or Yarlagadda Sumanth

Actor Sumanth is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Newton Third Law. During the promotions, he appeared in an interview where he spoke about his family name and how people address him.

The interviewer asked Sumanth whether he prefers to be called Akkineni Sumanth or Yarlagadda Sumanth. Sumanth smiled and said that both names make him equally happy. He said he has no problem with either name and feels proud of both.

The anchor then mentioned that many people call him Akkineni Sumanth because he looks very similar to his grandfather, the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The anchor also said that even people close to the family often use the name Akkineni Sumanth, just like they say Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya.

Responding to this, Sumanth said that many people do call him Akkineni Sumanth, but he is happy with both names. He repeated that he likes being called either Akkineni Sumanth or Yarlagadda Sumanth and does not have a personal preference.

Sumanth is the grandson of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao through his daughter. Because of his strong connection with the famous Akkineni family, fans and people in the film industry often refer to him as Akkineni Sumanth. At the same time, Yarlagadda is also his family surname.

Meanwhile, Sumanth is focused on promoting Newton Third Law, and he has been giving several interviews before the release.
