Sumanth Prabhas Reveals How Sandeep Reddy Vanga Brought Him Into Romanchakam

Sumanth Prabhas is getting ready to entertain audiences with his upcoming film Romanchakam, which is scheduled to release in theatres on September 3. Ananthika Sanilkumar is playing the female lead, while Venugopal Reddy is directing the movie. Pranay Reddy Vanga is producing the film under Bhadrakali Pictures, with Sandeep Reddy Vanga presenting it.

Ahead of the release, Sumanth Prabhas spoke exclusively to Tupaki and shared several interesting details about the movie and his journey with the project.

Sumanth revealed that Sandeep Reddy Vanga was the main reason he became part of Romanchakam. Sandeep first heard the story and liked it. He then called Sumanth and asked him to listen to the script. After hearing the story, Sumanth immediately connected with it.

According to Sumanth, Romanchakam is a complete fun ride with love, suspense and comedy. He said the film is not made only for youngsters and that family audiences can also enjoy it together. He believes audiences will have a smile on their faces while watching the movie.

Talking about his character, Sumanth said he plays a fun and mischievous youngster who feels like a boy from the neighbourhood. He also admitted that some dialogues were challenging because they had to be delivered very quickly. The dubbing process therefore required extra effort.

In his exclusive Tupaki interview, Sumanth also spoke warmly about producer Pranay Reddy Vanga. He said, “This is the first film of mine under the Bhadrakali banner apart from Sandeep Anna's films.”

Sumanth further revealed an emotional statement from Pranay. “If this film gives you a good name, that is enough for me. I don't want anything more from this film,” Pranay reportedly told him. Sumanth said those words showed the producer's confidence and genuine support for him.

He also explained that Romanchakam was a relaxed experience because he only had to concentrate on acting. In his first film, he handled writing, direction and acting, which created more pressure. This time, director Venugopal Reddy created a comfortable atmosphere on the sets.

Sumanth also shared a fun detail about Prabhas' Spirit and said he asked Pranay Reddy Vanga about its update. Pranay reportedly replied that they should first let Romanchakam release.

The film's trailer is scheduled to arrive on August 25, while Romanchakam will hit theatres on September 3. With Sandeep Reddy Vanga's support and Pranay Reddy Vanga's confidence, the film has generated interest among movie lovers.
