Dull 2024 Summer Just Like 2023!

Summer is the longest season for the film industry every year. A lot of big films are released during the Sankranti season but it last for only 7-10 days. Summer goes on for two months. With schools, colleges and universities giving holidays to the youth, they flock to the theatres in batches to have fun.

The theatres get filled and even the families come to theatres a lot during this season. That is why a lot of movies arrive during these two months. The euphoria starts at the end of March and continues till the end of May. But it looks like there are no big hero films this summer season just like last year.

In 2023, 'Dasara' and 'Virupaksha' are the only movies to arrive in summer 2023. A lot of big films that were supposed to be released in the summer got postponed and it disappointed the fans heavily. Many film lovers expected a lot of big releases to arrive in theatres during the summer season.

But summer 2024 is going to be the same as the last year. 'Devara' which was supposed to release in the first week of April got postponed to October. Everyone pinned a lot of hopes on 'Kalki' but it may not be released on 9th May as it is not possible as the final product is not yet ready. On top of that, there are Ap & Telangana elections on 13th May which is making it tough for the 'Kalki' makes to shift focus towards their movie.

With no big releases, movies like 'Tillu Square', 'The Family Star', 'Gangs Of Godavari' and 'Double Ismart' are the only films that are grabbing attention. Let us see what happens.
