Pushpa Put Me In Surprising Mode -Sunil

Started his career as a comedian, and then shifted to hero roles, but then surprisingly took up characters again, and now became an address for negative characters. That’s Sunil in a nutshell, as the comedian is continuously delivering films that have him in negative shades. After impressing everyone with his roles in movies like Pushpa, then Jailer and now he has done an interesting antagonist role in Kattalan too. Here’s what Sunil has to say about this.

“Pushpa has pushed me into a “Surprising Mode”. After that film, pan-India level offers are coming my way from different languages, quite surprisingly. When I go to Kerala for shooting, because of the fact that I’ve acted in the Tamil movie Jailer, they are giving me the scene paper in Tamil. (laughs). I came to Hyderabad to play villain roles, so I’m loving this phase of doing negative characters”, says Sunil, as he felt happy for doing such a greyish role in Kattalan.

Is there any actor in Tollywood that Sunil is looking forward to teaming up with? “Yeah, it’s none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi garu. I want to act with him. Because of Chiranjeevi garu only I got this blessed life. Used to take tickets for his films with this hand, and then shook hands with him. Only by looking at his dances and acting, I’ve come to the industry, so naturally it’s a dream to team up with him,” he further added.

Kattalan trailer resembles another Pushpa like setup as the film deals with gangs that smuggle elephant tusks for money, and kill anyone in the Bandipora forests who objects to that. Sunil is one of the antagonists in the movie while Antony Varghese is the main lead.
