“We Can’t Control Everything”: Supriya Yarlagadda On Naga Vamsi Comments

The movie Dacoit has become a good success at the box office. It is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and the film features Adivi Sesh as the hero and Mrunal Thakur as the heroine.

Before the release of the movie, there was a viral moment at the pre release event. Producer Naga Vamsi jokingly spoke about Supriya. He said that she usually questions others about how many days it takes to make a film and also gives a lot of importance to the hero. He added in a that now she has understood the real challenges of filmmaking.

Later, at the success meet of the movie, Supriya remembered those comments and shared her feelings about her journey while making the film.

She said, “In the industry, Vamshi recently made a small comment about me. Vamsi garu joked that I give lectures, and it is true in a way. But now I truly understood what it means to make a film. Even if we put our heart and soul into it, there are many things around a movie that we cannot control. That entire universe around the film is not in our hands.”

She continued, “Sometimes I used to feel very angry and frustrated. I would question everything and even get upset with people around me. There were moments when I wanted to walk away. But then something would bring me back. It could be a song playing on my phone, or a scene in the editing room. When I saw a close-up shot of Mrunal or a performance by Sesh, it gave me new energy.”

Supriya added, “That was the energy, and that was the fuel to keep going.”

Dacoit supporting cast features notable actors such as Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni, and Sunil in significant roles. The project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang, with a musical score composed by Bheems Ceciroleo and Gyaani.
