Suresh Babu Slams Public Talk Over Akhanda 2 Money Issues

The sudden halt of Akhanda 2 – Thaandavam, especially on the morning of release day, left the whole industry shaken. Fans were ready, theatres were prepped, promotions were done on a massive scale. He even pointed out how unnecessary the gossip has become. “Everyone is saying ‘this is the problem,’ ‘this much money’ and all that. Why? The audience just needs to watch the film. Why get into these details?” he said. He added that financial issues are nothing new, they existed even in the old lab era, and that early planning usually smoothens things out.

He made it clear that only financial hurdles triggered the delay, nothing else. The team is now waiting for an official update from the 14 Reels Plus banner, as they are working to settle things with Eros International. For now, fans will have to sit tight, but Suresh Babu’s calm words at least cut through the noise a bit.
