Suriya's Bollywood Debut In 2 parts?

A few days ago, we confirmed to our readers that Suriya's Bollywood debut will be Karna, is based on the Mahabharata epic. Meanwhile, we have got some interesting information on the project from our sources in the Hindi film Nagar. The juicy update surrounding the film is that it might have a two-part release.

Kanguva star Suriya is set to take on the lead role in Rang De Basanti director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s upcoming magnum opus. The director confirmed the news himself during a recent awards show. He did not directly reveal the details but confirmed that the project is underway one hundred percent.

In a brief press interaction, Rakeysh revealed that the project is very much in the works and that Suriya will headline the film. He also mentioned that pre-production is underway but kept additional details under wraps for now.

A few months ago, author and screenwriter Anand Neelakandan shared that Karnan would be a two-part film, with the first part in pre-production. Additionally, there have been reports that the filmmakers have approached Nayanthara and Janhvi Kapoor for pivotal roles.
