Husbands Are Worried About Suriya?

Suriya is once again winning hearts, but this time his popularity is creating a funny problem for many husbands. Social media users are talking about his relationship with actress Jyotika, and many women are praising the way Suriya stood by his love.

Recently, Suriya’s father and veteran actor Sivakumar spoke about his son’s relationship with Jyotika. His comments have once again brought attention to the couple’s long love story.

Sivakumar said Suriya was very clear about his decision when he fell in love with Jyotika. He did not want to marry someone just because marriage was expected from him. He wanted to marry the woman he truly loved.

Sivakumar recalled an old conversation with Suriya’s mother. When she asked why Suriya had not fallen in love then he reportedly said that love does not happen with just anyone. Later when Suriya fell in love with Jyotika, he remained firm about his decision.

Sivakumar said Suriya waited for around four years before marrying Jyotika. He was reportedly determined that if he got married, it would be to Jyotika. The couple finally got married in 2006. Suriya's father added that after marriage, Jyotika could have chosen to live in Mumbai with Suriya. Instead she stayed with his family for many years.

Suriya and Jyotika have now completed 20 years of marriage. They recently celebrated the milestone by renewing their wedding vows with their children and family members.

The couple first worked together in Poovellam Kettuppar in 1999. They later appeared together in films such as Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Maayavi and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal.

Their long relationship has now become a popular topic on social media. Many women admire Suriya for his commitment to Jyotika while some jokingly say that husbands now have a new benchmark to meet. Not just this, but many of Jyothika's words about Suriya’s perfectness as husband are also trending on social media.
