Suriya is one of the most talented actors in the Tamil film industry. However, his recent decisions in selecting movies seem to be raising concerns among his fans. The latest teaser of Parasakthi has sparked discussions about whether Suriya missed a golden opportunity.

Director Sudha Kongara initially planned to collaborate with Suriya again after their successful film Soorarai Pottru. However, Suriya stepped away from the project,

fearing that the sensitive content might lead to controversy. As a result, the role went to Sivakarthikeyan. Now after watching the teaser many believe that if Suriya had played the lead, the movie could have reached another level.

Instead Suriya chose to work with RJ Balaji who has yet to prove himself as a top director. This decision has left fans uncertain about the movie’s potential. Similarly, Suriya’s film Kanguva faced a lot of criticism. Many believe that Suriya has trusted director Siva too much even after some of his past films failed to impress audiences.

Adding to the concerns, Suriya missed another major project with director Venky Atluri which has now gone to Dhanush. While the official announcement is yet to come, reports suggest that Venky Atluri is moving forward with the project soon.

Currently, all Suriya fans hopes are on Retro directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The teaser looks promising but expectations must be kept in check. The same director previously made Jagame Thandhiram which failed at the box office.

Meanwhile, Suriya is also preparing for Vaadivaasal directed by Vetri Maaran. However, after Viduthalai Part 2 did not perform well some doubts remain about its success. With these many concerns, fans are hoping that Suriya’s upcoming choices will prove to be better decisions.
