Does Anyone in Tollywood Have Idea About Suriya’s Scene?

Actor Suriya is preparing for his next film, Scene which is scheduled to release in theatres on November 6, 2026. But the film is not creating much excitement in Tollywood. Even though the release date is approaching, many Telugu movie lovers are not talking about the film. Some people may not even know that it is arriving in theatres next month.

Suriya recently scored successful films with Karuppu and Vishwanath and Sons. His movies have received attention from audiences and fans are expecting more interesting projects from him. But his upcoming film Scene is not getting the same response in the Telugu market.

The film is directed by Jithu Madhavan who became popular after the success of Aavesham. The movie also marks the Tamil debut of Malayalam actor Naslen. These factors created expectations around the project when it was announced in Kollywood and also in Mollywood. But film has not yet created strong buzz among Telugu audiences.

One of the main reasons could be the lack of proper promotions. With only a few weeks left before its theatrical release, the makers have not started large scale publicity activities. The first single released from the film also failed to create the expected impact.

This has disappointed some Suriya Telugu fans who believe that the team should promote the film more actively. They feel that a good movie needs proper publicity to reach a wider audience. There have also been rumours about a possible postponement because of delays in post-production work.

But reports suggest that the makers are planning to release the film during Diwali as scheduled. Several promotional events are reportedly being planned in Chennai, Dubai, Hyderabad and Kochi during the final weeks before release.

The team is also said to be confident about the final output and is planning a wider release across India. So, if they can create sound at least by end of the October, then only the film can get minimum pre release business in Tollywood.
