Tamil actor Suriya celebrated his birthday by delighting fans with the much-anticipated teaser of his upcoming film "Kanguva." While fans were initially led to believe it might be a historical film akin to "Baahubali" and "Ponniyin Selvan," the producer clarified that it would blend historical and contemporary elements. The movie is set in Goa and stars Suriya alongside Disha Patani and other talented artists.

Director Siva emphasized that "Kanguva" isn't a fantasy film and doesn't feature any supernatural powers. Rather, it's a portrayal of a significant historical episode that occurred 1500 years ago in Tamil Nadu. The film's mythological setting adds an intriguing backdrop to the narrative.
