These days, any film, regardless of the talk, is making the best use of the first three days of the release from Friday to Sunday. Most of the time, these three-day collections are getting quite crucial for distributors to reach safe havens. With Tollywood betting most on the first three days, here’s what this Sunday is like, as trade pundits are worried about revenues being gone.

Today it marks the release of films like Sree Vishnu’s Mrityunjay, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar's S Saraswathi, and Sivaji's Sampradayani Suppini Suddhapusani in theatres. All of them received a good talk, and only if they could pull crowds owing to this talk, they would make decent revenues. While the Saturday holiday might add up, it’s the Sunday that’s getting massively affected.

With India going to the Finals of the T20 World Cup for a head-on clash with New Zealand, the nation's mood will be on the cricket finale for the whole of coming Sunday. That would surely upset these movies, which are hoping that a lot of family audiences will reach the theatres on Sunday. As the match starts in the evening, surely the first show and second show will be hugely affected, as per trade circles.
