Not all journeys into cinema start with applause. Milky beauty Tamannaah Bhatia, who’s spent nearly 20 years lighting up screens, recently opened up about how it all began  and it wasn’t pretty. In a candid moment, she recalled the pain in her parents’ eyes when she chose acting. For her family and neighbours, a teenage girl stepping into films felt like she was doing something terribly wrong.

She didn’t just talk about personal hurt  Tamannaah took aim at a bigger issue. She questioned why only the film industry is constantly under the microscope when it comes to harassment and judgment. “It happens everywhere,” she pointed out, asking why cinema is always painted as the villain. Her words struck a chord, and the clip has been making rounds online.

It wasn’t a rehearsed quote, nor a PR moment. Just Tamannaah, remembering the weight she carried when she first stepped in  and maybe hoping it’s a little lighter for the next girl who dreams of the same.
