Tamannaah Expresses Interest in Teaming Up with Sharwanand

At a time when Tamannaah Bhatia is often seen in glam roles and special numbers, the actress is all set to remind everyone of her roots as a strong performer. Known for films like Happy Days and Aavara, Tamannaah is now playing a powerful lead role in Odela 2, where she appears as Shivashakti. Directed by Ashok Teja, the film is a sequel to Odela, and recently a pre-release event was held with Sharwanand attending as the chief guest.

Speaking at the event, Sharwanand praised Tamannaah, saying, “In my eyes, she is not just a heroine but a wonderful actress. Surviving as a star heroine for almost 20 years and choosing a role like this shows her commitment. I’m sure the film will open with strong collections.”

Tamannaah too shared her thoughts at the event. She said, “In my 20-year career, I’ve worked with many teams, but people like Sampath Nandi and Madhu truly love cinema. I really want this film to be a success for them. I'm thankful to director Ashok Teja and writer Sampath for the role of Shivashakti. Vashishtha has done a great job in the film too. And honestly, this is the first time I’ve met Sharwanand. I would love to act with him sometime.”
