Tanishaa Mukerji, born on 3rd March 1978, is a well-known Indian actress celebrated for her performances in Hindi cinema. Hailing from the esteemed Mukherjee-Samarth family, she is the daughter of filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee and actress Tanuja, and the younger sister of the renowned actress Kajol. Tanishaa made her debut in Bollywood with the slasher film "Sssshhh..." in 2003, and she gained recognition with her role in the political crime thriller "Sarkar" and its sequel "Sarkar Raj," where she delivered a remarkable supporting performance.
