Born on March 3, 1978, Tanishaa Mukerji comes from a prestigious cinematic lineage as a member of the Mukherjee-Samarth family. She is the daughter of filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee and actress Tanuja, and the younger sister of Bollywood superstar Kajol.
