The latest discussion about this film is that it is going to come with a rather belated arrival on OTT as the makers have reportedly signed an eight weeks agreement with the OTT partner.;
it is already known that talented young Telugu hero Teja Sajja is coming up with his next film Mirai. This film is releasing in theatres on September 12, and it has generated a lot of interest among the Telugu audience.
The latest discussion about this film is that it is going to come with a rather belated arrival on OTT as the makers have reportedly signed an eight weeks agreement with the OTT partner.
According to the latest reports regarding the OTT arrival of this film, it is being primarily established that Mirai will follow an 8-week theatrical window before making its way to OTT - a standard requirement set by national multiplex chains for Hindi film screenings.
The Hindi version is hitting national multiplexes on 12th September, with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions handling the distribution in Hindi. As it is, no, not the PVR chain makes it mandatory for films to sign eight weeks agreement if they’re to screen any film in their theatres in Hindi.
Subsequently, it is now officially confirmed that this Teja Sajja film will be arriving on OTT only eight weeks after the theatrical release, which is a pretty substantial delay period.
This is again, an indication of the fact that the film is going to be a big screen experience and must be watched in the theatres to absorb to the fullest. The fact that the OTT release is going to be delayed is perhaps a calculated decision by the makers.
