In his latest interview, Teja spoke about how he had to take his creative choices in a very systematic manner in order to build a strong market for himself.

As pointed out by Teja himself, he received solo lead film offers even before OhBaby, but the reason he didn't take them was practically audience and families needed to recognize his face properly first. That’s why he chose to act in Oh Baby

“The Telugu cinema market is very big now, and it becomes even bigger when kids and families come to theatres. I would clearly say no to adult content when it comes to me. I’m fine watching such scenes or jokes, but once I understood that families are coming to theatres with children to watch my films, I decided not to act in such content" he stated.

The fact that Teja had planned and executed his career in such a systematic way in order to come close to the family audience and children is the kind of clarity that is lacking in other heroes.

This clarity and vision is perhaps the reason why Teja is leading the race in the Telugu youngster circuit. But the crucial challenge for him is going to continue this momentum and sustain the success rate in the near future as well.
