'Indian 2' is a pan-Indian movie arriving this weekend. The movie generated huge buzz during its announcement but it slowly went down as the days progressed. Despite all the updates and promotional content, the movie failed to created a lot of hype among Telugu movie lovers. But the press meet and the pre-release event managed to generate a decent buzz on the movie.

With both Shankar and Kamal Haasan sounding confident about the movie, the audience are curious to see what they have in store for us. But most of them are not eager to step in the theatres on the first day itself. The bookings are just decent enough. They are waiting for the public talk before buying the tickets. Also, the movie is 3 hours and 4 minutes long and Shankar already said that 'Indian 3' will be a continuation to 'Indian 2' not a sequel.

Amidst all these, the government of Telangana has granted permission for the 'Indian 2' team to screen the film 5 times a day. Also, they have allowed them to increase the ticket rates for the first week i.e. from 12th July to the 19th. The ticket rates in multiplexes will increase by Rs. 75 and the single screen tickets will witness an increase in price by 50 rupees.

We have seen the ticket rates upped massively for 'Kalki 2898 AD' but it is a huge project made on a 600 crore budget and had a lot of hype. People were crazy over that movie but increasing the ticket rates for 'Bharateeyudu 2' may backfire as people are still not that sure about its content according to analysts. Let us wait till Friday to see if this is a good decision or not.
