Finally, Tollywood Cutting Heroes Remunerations?

For a long time, now, the Telugu film industry had been struggling with extreme financial distress. This was primarily due to the increasing remuneration demands of actors while the actual theatrical returns was going down.

However, the situation has reached the climax position now as producers are not in a position to attract massive deals from OTT platforms and the production costs are very high.

Subsequently, it is being established that all the producers have collectively decided to reduce the remuneration of heroes and other technicians associated with the films.

Apparently, remunerations that are being paid to heroes, will be cut down by a significant percentage, but instead they will be given a share in the actual profits. This would help reduce the initial production cost of the film and make the producer a bit risk free.

This will apply to the directors and heroines who are associated with films as well. This is going to be a collective decision that would be taken by all the producers as any kind of cracks and miscalculations might anguish the actors greatly.
